Our story

Founder, Liza Naylor, has shared her passion for inspired cuisine in York, Pennsylvania and beyond since 2012. She enjoyed working alongside some of the area's best talent on local fundraisers, start-ups and classes. Liza connects with people through food and always knew she wanted to combine her love of cooking with her vision to promote discovery and celebrate resilience.

in the press

In 2017, Liza opened Locally Seasoned as a personal chef service with the tagline "Food for your journey." Beside delicious and unique dishes, her clients enjoyed handmade chutneys, pickles, garnishes, dressings and blends of spices. During the pandemic, it became clear that a pivot was needed. Now, Locally Seasoned manufactures gourmet chutneys and pickled garnishes inspired by the stories, people and cultures behind them.

Every Locally Seasoned product contains an encouraging message promoting lifelong learning and personal growth. Most of these messages come from customers like you, sharing words that helped along the way.

We hope your Locally Seasoned product brings you warm memories, joyful smiles and happy eating!

Our commitment to you: Exceptional flavors. Nourishing thoughts. Delicious living.

Locally Seasoned donates a portion of our profits to causes important to us: victims of sexual violence and abuse; women and men's health; mental health and sustainable agriculture.

Since 2018, Locally Seasoned has partnered with Leg Up Farmers Market offering a wide array of cooking classes. Today you can still find Liza’s approachable method to creating delightful dishes at Leg Up Farmers Market.
